Principal Consultant & Director
Pepe is a civil-geotechnical engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the mining industry, specialising in tailings disposal systems and mine waste facility design.
He’s held Engineer of Record roles for leading mining operations in Australia over several years and is a member of select Independent Technical Review Boards. Pepe adds expert due diligence and tailings valuation skills to Tailex.

Senior Consultant & Director
Sam has over 10 years of experience in tailings and mine waste management, covering design, technical analysis, and fieldwork.
Sam has particular areas of interest in evaluation of tailings technologies and disposal methods, governance and risk assessments.
Juanita Martin
Principal Consultant
Juanita has over 30 years of experience in mining and civil industries, specializing in water management for mining infrastructure.
She is skilled in hydraulic design and advanced dam-break modelling. She leads studies on water balance, hydrology, flooding, and dam breaks, and serves as a subject matter expert for due diligence and technical reviews.
