Project Experience
Pepe and Sam undertook the first DSR for a ~160 m high centreline rockfill dam in Peru.
Given the potential impacts on downstream communities, the TSF is classified as an extreme consequence facility under GISTM, CDA and ANCOLD guidelines.
The DSR included a rigorous assessment of all TSF elements that could influence the safety of the TSF.
This included a detailed review of designs and analysis, material characterisation, water management, monitoring records, closure strategies and emergency response plans.
